Thomas Smith – Chief Financial Officer/ Marketing Director
Mr. Thomas Smith has extensive experience in helping children and adolescents that have transformed lives. After being raised by a widowed mother with 9 children, and him being the 2nd oldest, he developed a passion to help and show his younger siblings that if he could make it, they could as well. Thomas was the 2nd person in his family to graduate from college only because his oldest brother, Johnny, walked across that same stage minutes earlier, which was one of the proudest moments in his life. Thomas has worked at several residential treatment facilities in Alabama (Ramsay Youth Services) and Georgia (Devereux and Downing Clark Center), where he was employed as Director of Operations and Program Directors at each facility. Thomas continues to work in the community with at-risk youth in Georgia, as he provides training in the community to several community-based programs on how to handle and relate to at-risk youth. Thomas is an enthusiastic trainer and likes to ensure that everyone he has trained knows that every moment is a teaching one.
Thomas is married to the lovely Dianna, his high school sweetheart. They have 3 wonderful children, Thomas, Trenton, and Taylor. They currently reside in Kennesaw, GA. Thomas is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
